Whistleblowing Policy
Routes for raising concerns about serious wrongdoing.
Purpose
Clouds Nest encourages people working with the business to raise reasonable concerns about serious wrongdoing in the public interest. Examples include fraud, unlawful use of data, bribery, threats to safety, environmental harm or deliberate concealment of misconduct.
How to raise a concern
Report the issue to Clouds Nest management, explaining relevant events, dates and available evidence. The contact form can start the conversation; do not upload or paste unnecessary sensitive records. If the concern involves a manager, request another management contact. If internal reporting is inappropriate, independent advice or a relevant prescribed regulator may be suitable.
Confidentiality and protection
Information should be shared only as necessary to assess and investigate the concern. Absolute anonymity cannot be guaranteed. Retaliation for raising a genuine concern is prohibited, even if the concern is not substantiated. Statutory whistleblowing protection depends on the applicable legal conditions; this policy does not limit those rights or require a worker to waive them.
Review and response
Management should assess the report, investigate proportionately, seek specialist advice where needed and take corrective action. Feedback should be provided where lawful and practical without compromising others’ information. Personal employment grievances and ordinary service complaints should use the appropriate grievance or customer-support route, unless they also involve a public-interest concern.
Questions or concerns
