Health and Safety Policy
Safe office, remote working, demonstrations and business travel.
Commitment and scope
Clouds Nest Solutions Ltd aims to protect its personnel, contractors, customers and visitors through reasonably practicable precautions. This policy concerns its own software-business activities, including office and remote work, demonstrations, meetings and business travel.
Responsibilities
Management should assess relevant risks, provide suitable information and arrange necessary controls. Personnel must take reasonable care, follow safety instructions, report hazards and use equipment appropriately. Contractors remain responsible for their own work arrangements alongside any applicable Clouds Nest requirements.
Main precautions
- Consider display-screen setup, posture, breaks and workstation needs.
- Keep electrical equipment and work areas safe and report defects.
- Plan customer visits and travel with regard to access, lone working and local risks.
- Consider workload, stress and reasonable adjustments.
- Follow premises’ emergency arrangements and report incidents or near misses promptly.
Customer field operations
Clouds Nest provides software used in field sales and fundraising. Each customer or employer remains responsible for its own field-worker risk assessments, training, safeguarding, supervision and emergency procedures. Mapping, check-in and allocation tools support operational decisions but do not replace those responsibilities.
Incidents and review
Management should record and investigate relevant incidents and arrange any legally required reporting. Risks and controls should be reviewed following significant changes or incidents. Do not continue an activity where an immediate danger has been identified.
